The goals of the Center for Entrepreneurship are to create an education environment where brave projects receive inputs from leading experts from both the Ukraine and abroad. The Centre’s first acceleration program finished in December 2018 and was a big success. Two of the winning teams will be participating in a 10-day Case Study Trip to Israel in March 2019, when they will be introduced to the Israeli startup ecosystem, accelerators, venture foundations and companies from their sector of business.

Ivan Petrenko is the Executive Director of the Centre.  He is busy negotiating a partnership with the Credit Agricole bank with a view to a collaboration that will support the AgroTech ecosystem in the Ukraine.  

We asked him what he most enjoys about his job and what other exciting projects he has coming up in 2019…

“It is a fantastic, innovative environment with a huge amount of passionate, bright young entrepreneurs and students who share the same values. We all want to help the Ukrainian startup ecosystem to grow and develop. There is a great deal of talent here which still has to be discovered by strong educational programs, professional mentorship and expertise and a global scale mindset. And that is exactly what we do here at the Center for Entrepreneurship of the Ukrainian Catholic University.” ◼️
